The short version
Clawd is a personal AI reached through messaging services and this website. It stores conversation and working information to respond, provide continuity and carry out requests. Relevant information is processed by hosting, messaging, AI and connected-service providers.
We do not sell your personal data. Providing the service does involve sharing information with service providers and recipients as described below.
Service: Clawd, operated from Florida, United States. Contact: info@clawd.co.
Information the service handles
- Account details: your phone number, sign-in and invitation records, and any name, email, timezone or form details you supply.
- Conversation and content: messages, assistant replies, photos, voice-note transcripts, documents and other files you share or ask Clawd to create or retrieve.
- Task information: reminders, saved facts, working files, browser results, requested screenshots, task reports and connection state.
- Connected-account data: information retrieved through permissions you grant, such as Gmail messages and attachments, calendar information or pages opened in a signed-in browser.
- Technical information: service usage, timestamps, delivery metadata, errors, and network or device information processed by the website and its infrastructure.
Content you share may include sensitive information about you or someone else. Only share information you have a right to use, and avoid sending secrets in chat.
How information is used
Information is used to answer messages, research requests, make or read files, provide conversational context, run requested tasks and reminders, manage connections and support the service. Operational records help diagnose failures, account for resource use and address misuse.
A request may use relevant earlier conversation and information from connected accounts. A Gmail request, for example, may involve searching several messages and attachments.
We can access stored information to run and troubleshoot Clawd, and we do not use your conversations to train our own AI models; providers process content under their own terms, subject to the Google-data restrictions below.
Who processes your information
We use service providers to run Clawd. They process the information needed for their part of the service, as described below.
| Purpose | Information involved |
|---|---|
| Hosting and storage | Service providers host Clawd and store conversations, files, account information and service records. |
| Messaging and sign-in | Messaging and verification providers deliver your messages and sign-in codes. The messaging apps you use also process information under their own policies. |
| AI and search | AI and search providers process relevant messages, files and other task information to generate responses, transcribe voice notes, create images and carry out requests. |
| Connected accounts and websites | Connection and browsing providers help Clawd access accounts you connect. Those accounts and websites receive information involved in your requests. |
| Music and purchases | Music providers process requests through a connected account. A payment provider handles payment setup and purchase approval. Payment details are used to submit an approved checkout and are not included in AI conversations. |
Information may also be disclosed to the recipients involved in a requested task, to meet a legal obligation, or where needed to address security or misuse. Provider processing can take place outside your state or country; we do not promise a particular data-storage region.
AI providers process relevant content to generate responses. Provider retention and data-use terms depend on the service and account configuration; we do not promise zero provider retention.
Gmail and Google Calendar
Google connections are optional. Permissions granted through sign-in determine the available access. Retrieved email, attachments and calendar information can become part of a task, its conversation or a working file and can be processed by the AI services needed for that task.
Use and transfer of information received through Google APIs must follow the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements. That includes restrictions on advertising, sale, unrelated transfers and human access. Google data must not be repurposed for unrelated model training.
You can disconnect the service in the workspace or revoke access through your Google account. Disconnecting does not automatically remove information already stored in conversation, task records or files.
Private conversations and groups
Your private chat and each active WhatsApp group have separate conversation histories and saved files. Active groups can retain messages and media from everyone in the group, including people who have no Clawd account, even when Clawd does not reply. Room members can see what is posted in the group, and shared information can also remain in their own messaging history.
Clawd in a group receives the account owner’s first name, timezone and the names of connected services. Depending on the group’s settings, it can use shared services. Information can also be passed between a private chat and a group when requested. Do not assume that removing a message, leaving a group or disconnecting an account erases copies elsewhere.
Storage, forgetting and deletion
Conversation history, saved details, working files and task records persist across sessions. Signing out does not erase them. Some media copies, temporary links and browser records have shorter lifetimes, while separately saved working copies can persist.
Asking Clawd to forget a saved fact does not erase the original conversation, summaries, form details or files. Disconnecting an account stops that connection but is not an account-deletion request.
For access, correction or account deletion, contact info@clawd.co. We may need to verify your account before acting. Applicable legal rights and necessary retained records depend on the circumstances. Provider records and copies held by other people may require separate requests.
Cookies and security
The website uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. Hosting and security services may also process technical request information. Refusing a necessary cookie can prevent sign-in from working.
Use the hosted connection pages for account sign-in; do not send passwords or payment-card details in chat. Keep control of your phone and connected accounts. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and a messaging platform’s protections do not mean content remains end-to-end encrypted after it reaches Clawd’s processing systems.
Younger users
The service is for people aged 13 and older. Users aged 13–17 need a parent or guardian’s consent and supervision. The service is not intended for children under 13.
If you believe a child under 13 has supplied information, contact info@clawd.co so we can investigate and address the account and associated data.
